As a parent of a long time student of Audrey’s, I never thought that I would be able to successfully play piano, much less perform at a recital. After years of watching my son’s joy and growth in taking lessons with Audrey, I decided to try something outside of my own box and take lessons with her. At first I was very nervous because sometimes it’s hard to learn new things when you are an adult, but she put me immediately at ease. We started slow and steady and she guided me through the basics, until I was able to play a full piece. Audrey has this amazing ability to translate music and rhythm to the student in a very approachable and understandable way. I remember I was having trouble with the rhythm of a certain phrase of music and she was able to explain it to me in a way that I not only understood, but could remember and use for future pieces.

She is also an amazing performer and pianist herself and her depth of understanding of not only the music and music theory, but how to impart the music to a student is above an beyond any music teacher I’ve seen. I very much enjoy watching her perform and hearing her play over the years. It’s very inspiring! I have now performed in 2 recitals, which is nothing I thought I would EVER do. With her support and passionate teaching ability I have been able to achieve this personal goal and I can’t tell you how much I felt her support in the process. Put it this way, if I had had her as my piano teacher at age 5, I never would have quit. It is truly a gift to work with her and I sincerely look forward to my lesson every week! She literally unlocks the mystery and gives the magical gift of music to all of her students, adults and children!

Our daughter (age 7) felt comfortable at the piano from the very start thanks to Audrey’s wonderful demeanor. Audrey is incredibly talented and shares her love for the piano, the music and the music theory which she deftly weaves into each lesson. She shows patience and professional respect for her students while maintaining high expectations, warmth and customized individual plans, encouraging each student to shine. Audrey was highly recommended by friends and for good reason! Our daughter has gained such an appreciation for music and confidence in herself as a musician. She has even blossomed into a performer thanks to Audrey. Highly recommend!

Our daughter has been taking private lessons with Audrey for the past 5 years! Audrey’s sweet demeanor, patience, ability to relate to children of all ages, and incredible skill set are what make her a special teacher AND what has made for an amazing ongoing learning experience. She also incorporates into each lesson specific time dedicated to both technique and theory - a standout from your “ordinary piano lesson”.

Our daughter has been inspired to practice and loves her lessons with Audrey. Not only is she a good teacher, but she is an incredibly talented international concert pianist. Audrey has taught me piano for two years so far. Over that time I’ve really enjoyed developing my piano abilities and Audrey has made a huge difference in my confidence and piano technique. As well as being an exceptional pianist, Audrey is a very dedicated teacher who takes lots of time to understand her students and puts real effort into making the piano an enjoyable experience for them.

My 9-year-old son has been taking piano lessons with Arianna at Opus One Music for several months now and he could not be more enthusiastic about learning the piano thanks to her. Arianna is very kind and gentle but clear and organized in the way she teaches. She makes the lesson fun while utilizing every minute to teach. At the end of each lesson, she makes sure my son is clear about what he need to practice and has him eager to practice five days a week without me having to hound him! She is really the perfect teacher for an elementary school piano student. We are beyond happy with her!
