Georgia Lazaridou was born in Greece in a musical family. Her first formal piano education started at the age of six. She gave her debut solo recital at the age of eleven at the Athens Museum Concert Hall. Georgia has performed as a soloist with orchestra, as a recitalist, and as a chamber musician extensively. She has participated in summer festivals, including Chetham’s International Piano Festival, Kutztown University Summer Music Festival, FIMCE Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara del Elqui in Chile and others.
Georgia Lazaridou has been praised for “showing a mastery of technical difficulties and soulful expression” (Reading Eagle.) She has studied with Maria Asteriadou, Ekaterina Lebedeva, Murray McLachlan, Christos Noulis, and Domna Evnouhidou. Georgia received her Bachelor of Music degree from the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, her Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music, and she is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Manhattan School of Music under the guidance of Joanne Polk. Georgia offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 6 and above, from beginner to advanced. She has been teaching since 2015 and uses teaching methods exclusively selected for each student according to their skills.
