Ripley Lucas-Tagliani

Ripley Lucas-Tagliani is a soprano from NYC. In 2023, she was a studio artist with Opera Neo covering the role of Aspasia in Mozart’s Mitridate. In 2022, she was both a Manetti Shrem Opera Fellow at Festival Napa Valley and a Young Artist at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival. She sung Venus in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld at Manhattan School of Music and performed in A Midsummer’s Dream of Song. Ripley’s other roles include Lidochka in Moscow Cheryomushki by Shostakovich at Manhattan School of Music and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni as a part of The Savannah Voice Festival. Ripley curated and performed in WOMEN in 2019, an evening honoring women composers. She was an honored soloist at the 43rd National Italian American Foundation Gala in Washington D.C. Upon Master’s graduation, Ripley was a recipient of the Stan Sesser Commencement Award. Recently, she was a semifinalist for the John Alexander National Voice Competition and a finalist in the Mildred Miller International Voice competition.

Ripley enjoys teaching a wide variety of musical styles and loves inspiring students to help find their voice. She strives to show how we can communicate as proud and sensitive artists through the universal lang.
